- Collaborating with operational leaders to identify skills gaps and deliver workforce development initiatives.
- Supporting apprentices and employees through structured development programmes while ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
This role is based on site at Walsall, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish every Friday.
Essential experience of the Training and Competency Manager:
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people development capability.
- Experience developing and managing training, competency, or workforce development programmes.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost, value, and risk.
Qualifications for the Training and Competency Manager:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
