In this role, you will:
• Perform Quality Control Review of maintenance tasks and aircraft journey log entries
• Record discrepancies found during Quality Control review of task cards and journey logs
• Ensure any discrepancies found during Quality Control review of task cards and journey logs are corrected
• Ensure parts are issued to performed maintenance tasks
• Ensure part movement on maintenance tasks is performed as applicable
• Scan and upload all performed maintenance tasks to into the maintenance tracking software
• Perform filing of electronic copies of aircraft journey logs
• Perform filing of completed maintenance tasks
• Update compliance on scheduled aircraft/component maintenance tasks in maintenance tracking software as required
• Make technical record entries in the appropriate tech logs in maintenance tracking software
• Run weekly reports and report data on Work Order Progress
• Oversee labour tracking on maintenance tasks
• Review of part removal reports and removal of these parts in records
• Report monthly totals of discrepancies found during Quality Control review of task cards and journey logs
• Perform periodic Work Order Control report reviews
• Provide support to the Planner as required
• Report to the Lead Technical Records Clerk.
• Adhere to all workplace Health and Safety Regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate brings:
• Previous Aviation Technical Records experience
• Attention to detail
• Experience in using an Aviation Maintenance tracking program
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office programs) and Adobe
• Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations
• Good verbal and written communication skills, creating reports
• Eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
