The role
As a Painter, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will undertake painting and sign writing activities on systems and equipment

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for completion of all planned preventative maintenance and nuclear implicated work to ensure the department meets the objectives of the business

Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales.
Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems Of Work and control of work processes within BM&T Clyde policies.
Shot blasting & Spray painting techniques on Trident Systems and Equipment.

This role is full time 36 hours per week and is based on site at RNAB Coulport

Essential experience of the Painter

Preparation and application of paint systems
Knowledge Relevant acceptance standards
Shot Blasting experience would be preferred
Knowledge of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems

Qualifications for the Painter

Recognised Apprenticeship in Painting or Equivalent

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
