The Company:

Allspeeds are an engineering company with a proud history of designing and manufacturing equipment for demanding applications including oil & gas, subsea & offshore, renewables, nuclear and industrial.

Due to continued success, we are actively seeking a laborer to join the team at our factory in Clayton-Le-Moors.

The Role:

· Carry out routine housekeeping of the overall site, including but not limited to: emptying of swarf skips, emptying of waste bins, cleaning oil spills, sweeping the floor, cleaning windows

· Laboring to help other areas or departments when needed

· Use of the ride on floor cleaner to keep on top of site cleanliness

· Consolidating empty pallets/ crates and boxes from the shop floor

· Helping others maintain/ clean their equipment

· Movement of product around the shop floor

· Ensure all work is to a high standard

· Adhere to all Company / Health and Safety regulations

Experience:

· Prior experience working in an engineering company preferred

· Use of power tools preferred

Experience is preferred but not essential, the best candidate for the job is someone who has a great work ethic and is always looking to keep themselves busy. Whether it being cleaning the floor or finishing precision components.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment and once trained should be able to work with minimal supervision.

The position would suit someone with these qualities:

· Good attention to detail and able to work to a high standard

· Hard working and self motivated

· Always looking to keep themselves busy

· Able to work safely (PPE will be provided)

· Able to work individually as well as part of a team

Personal protective equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes etc) will be provided, as will any training needed.
